RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Architect in Pittsburgh, PA on a contract basis.
Summary:
The Cloud Architect will be tasked with developing solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services, as well as oversee architecture, management, configuration, and layout of Azure infrastructures. The Cloud Architect will also provide expert-level architecture design for Azure environments and demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience in implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions for Azure, following industry best practices and change management policies
* 5 years of experience in analyzing Azure environments and recommending best practices in Compute, Storage, Backup Recovery, and Archiving specific to Azure
* 5 years of experience in planning, designing, and managing Azure infrastructures
* Experience using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or other major cloud computing services
* Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design
* Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment
* Strong communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
